Monalisa Chinda and Rita Dominic at loggerheads?
Speaking on the supposed their misunderstanding, Monalisa, who spoke to
Punch in a recent interview, said the allegations were untrue.
She addressed the issue saying they both attended same school and
naturally went separate ways afterwards without any altercations of any
sort as is commonly misconstrued.
Chinda said: “These are just ill allegations. Rita and I are not at loggerheads. We just drifted apart and she is still my sister. We went to the same school. I do not think that anybody should have a permanent enemy or a permanent friend. As you grow up in this big industry, your interests start to differ and that is just what happened, we are not fighting please.”
The 41-year-old Chinda made a debut in 1996 and has since garnered more recognition for herself. She holds a degree in theatre arts from the University of Port Harcourt. While Dominic has enjoyed a relatively bigger career in Nollywood she got her first acting role in 1998 in the movie A Time To Kill. She has since gone on to spread her tentacles in the entertainment industry which has earned her a number of awards.
