Brand Manager, Yojus
Fruit Drink, Foluke Makinde, laid emphasis on the brand’s identity, stating
that it is lively and colourful.
In her words, “Yojus
as a brand explores the colourful and fun loving nature of children and also
engages their imagination. We have discovered that there are lots of kids out
there who are extremely talented, with this contest we intend to help them
express their artistic imagination, encourage and also reward them”
Makinde also added
that Yojus Painting Star Contest has come to stay, and it will get bigger and
better through participation from more schools. Those who could not participate
in this year’s edition should anticipate subsequent editions.
According to Ibrahim
Ganiyu, Artiste, Art Educator and Co-judge at the contest, “The level of
creativity displayed is amazing; the theme has been well expressed in painting
by the children; and the event is well organized. I had a lot of fun seeing the
wonderful things that children can do when empowered with the right tools. This
is a contest that should be held at least twice a year to encourage our
children to become creative thinkers”
The best painting,
done by ChiziteramOnyia is a painting of the beach at sunset which the judges
described as a beautiful work with good space management, fantastic colour
combination, creative, neat and with proper interpretation of the theme.
The event was fun
filled as the other pupils were engaged in series of activities, there couldn’t
have been more fun.
Launched in March
2010, Yojus comes in six different flavours; Orange, Pineapple, apple,
