The family of late music producer and singer, Babatunde Okungbowa aka OJB Jezreel have released details for his final burial rites.
OJB who passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 after a
long term battle with Kidney disease will be buried at the Ikoyi
cemetery on the 8th of July, 2016.
OJB battled
with kidney problems since 2013 and was flown to India for a transplant.
However, his kidney transplant failed again a week before his demise
and OJB passed on.
The late singer sadly passed on while preparing for his 50th birthday slated for 4th of July this year.
His body has been deposited in Farewell Funeral Homes, Isolo.
A candle light procession will hold on Monday, July 4, 2016 by 5pm. The Kick off point will be the late singer's house at No4, Gbaja street, Surulere, Lagos.
A wake keeping, service of songs and tributes will take place on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Ojays, National Stadium, Surulere by 5pm.
His final burial will be on July 8 with a lying in state at his residence from 7am – 8am immediately followed by a service at Redeemed Christian Church of God, Grace Chapel, 129, Ogunlana Drive Surulere, Lagos.
He will be buried at the Ikoyi Cemetery, Ikoyi immediately after service.
