The fiancé of a young female military officer who lost her life after a very brief illness has refused to come to terms with the fact that he has lost the love of his life.
The young soldier, Blessing Ene Edache who
was just 23-years-old at the time of her death, according to close
friends, had just been engaged to the man who is also a soldier known as
Khaki, three months earlier before her sudden demise on Wednesday, January 18, 2017, after being ill just for a few hours.
The
Adoka, Benue State born Edache was said to be looking forward to her
wedding scheduled for later this year and could not stop telling her
friends and family about the great event in her life when tragedy struck
and since then, her fiancé is said to have been in a state of shock.
He
is said to have withdrawn into himself, talking to his late fiancée and
at times, wanders away from people with friends fearing he could harm
himself as he cannot bear the fact that Edache is no more.
According to family members, the deceased soldier girl will be laid to rest on Friday, January 27, 2017, at her hometown.
