Mariah 'Mimi' Carey, the renowned American singer and songwriter has launched her own record label ''Butterfly MC Records".
She has also announced a release of her 14th studio album in 2017.
Butterfly MC Records will be a joint venture partnership with LA Reid's Epic Records.

Mariah Carey, the female artist with the most number one hits — including “One Sweet Day,” the longest-running chart-topper of all time, and “We Belong Together,” which is tied for the second-longest run — is set to tour arenas with Lionel Richie this summer, including a stop at Madison Square Garden on Aug. 19. 2017. The tour, which was originally slated for this spring, was postponed so that Richie could recover from knee surgery. Carey, who was raised in Greenlawn said.
