While there's still "Alakada Reloaded" waiting to end the month of May, June is almost here with enough dose of entertainment.
Pulse Movies has rounded up the biggest new movies coming to the cinemas in June, including the continuation of the Akporsadventure, "10 Days in Sun City."
Check out five Nollywood movies you should look forward to this June.
1. "Lost in London"
The movie which continues the adventures of Ime Umoh asOkon will debut in cinemas on June 9, 2017.
Produced by Uduak Isong Oguamanam, "Lost in London" is directed by Sunkamni Adebayo and stars Alexx Ekubo as Bona and Valerie Okeke.
2. "Roti"
Directed by Kunle Afolayan and starring Kate Henshaw, "Roti" premieres in cinemas on June 30, 2017.
"Roti" tells the story of how, years after a couple loses their son called Roti to a brief illness, the wife sees a boy called Juwon who is an exact replica of her dead son.
3. "Stormy Hearts"
A music-oriented movie, "Stormy Hearts" will debut in cinemas on June 2, 2017.
Directed by Tope Alake and produced by Judith Audu, the movie stars Christiana Martin, Theresa Edem, Eddie Watson, Kenneth Okoli, Fred Amata, Rotimi Salami, Kelechi Udegbe, Gregory Ojefua, Tomiwa Kukoyi, Etinosa Idemudiaand Debbie Ohiri.
4. "10 Days in Sun City"
"10 Days in Sun City" is a comedy-drama that sees Akpos on another ‘adventure’, this time, to South Africa, with his girlfriendBianca.
Produced by AY Makun, the movie will premiere in Nigeria and South Africa on June 23, 2017.
5. "Isoken"
Produced and directed by Jade Osiberu, "Isoken" will premiere on June 16, 2017.
The movie tells the story of a successful but unmarried 34-year-old woman, who has to deal with the societal pressure that comes with being single at a certain age.
