The planned friendly game between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and Togo has been cancelled due to logistics concerns.
The Togolese Football Federation (TFF) on May 11 announced that they would face the Super Eagles of Nigeria in a friendly in June.
The NFF did not confirm or deny the report of the friendly game.
The friendly was to be played in Paris after the Super Eagles game against Corsica but an official of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has revealed that the game has been cancelled.
According to Complete Sports,
the NFF source revealed that the game has been cancelled and that the
Super Eagles will return to Abuja immediately after the friendly game
against Corsica.
After the Corsica friendly, the Super Eagles of Nigeria will kick off preparation for their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa on Saturday, June 10.
Super Eagles boss Gernot Rohr has already announced a squad for a friendly game against Corsica and a camp in Paris afterwards.
