Nollywood actor, Saidi Balogun has revealed his experiences as well as working relationship with Nemesia boss and director, BB Shasore.
The actor revealed that he actually had a sit down with the movie director for eight hours after getting the script to act in Biola Alabi produced movie, "Banana Island Ghost".
He said "BB Shasore is a young guy that still amaze me.
"After
I was contacted for the role in Banana Island Ghost, BB came and sat
with me for eight hours straight and we discussed each scene.
"Thus,
I had the picture of the total movie and when I got on set, it flowed
freely because I understood not only character but other characters as
well as what to do to enhance other character in other to get a
wonderful picture and story told.
"A director meeting up with an actor and having such deep discussion even before going on set to call the shots isn't regular.
"He
requested for half of my day and it was only after we finished our
discussion before the shooting that we realised we have done eight hours
discussing a movie we were about to shoot, so when we got on set, he
will call me aside and asked if the correction was put in and it flowed
ceaselessly.
"During the shoot,
someone said the guy is just woring effortlessly and I said to myself,
he had taken the rigour when he should and that is earlier before the
shoot," said Balogun, who played the role of DPO in the movie.

The
actor, who recently turned 50 also hinted that he has taken so much
from the movie in terms of wealth of experience and technical know-how
while on the set of Banana Island Ghost.
"I have taken a lot out of the experience on the set of Banana Island Ghost and I will put all these to good use."
On his personality at 50, his life at 50, the actor said: "I'm fulfilled as an actor and as an individual because i have been able to achieve my dream.
"To
cap it all, a month to my birthday, I was on the set of Banana Island
Ghost and I went to Mecca for Umrah to pray to God and thank HIM for his
mercies and interestingly, I returned to the set of "Banana Island
Ghost" to complete my job and I can tell you it's an achievement for me
and my career.
"Leaving a movie
of this magnitude to go to the holy land just to pray regarding my
birthday courtesy the Ooni of Ife and King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal and I
returned to complete my scenes on this movie and here it is, I can't
wait to see it."
Saidi Balogun starred alongside Chigul, Patrick Diabuah, Bimbo Manuel, Kemi Lala Akindeju, Uche Jombo Rodriguez and others in the film set to hit the cinema in August 2017.
