It is also a 36 percent increase over last year's season 6 finale, which drew 8.9 million viewers.

In the finale of the penultimate season, the Night King got to ride an undead dragon, Dany and Jon Snow finally had sex and Jaime disobeyed his sister for the first time.
With the invasion of Westeros by the White Walkers, the episode paved way for the epic beginning of the end. And at this point, the only safe character might just be Littlefinger who was killed by Arya.
The final season of "Game of Thrones" is expected to debut in 2018 or 2019, with just six episodes.
