The candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Maurice Pronem, has defeated Dumnamene Dekor of the People's Democratic Party in Khana/Gokana federal constituency in the Saturday's Rivers rerun election.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Pronem as the winner on Sunday afternoon, December 11.
The returning officer, G.O Osuagwu announced that the APC candidate secured 68,219 votes while PDP's Dekor got 20,329 votes.
More results from other local governments are still being collated.
