The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has confirmed that only the bombers died the Sunday morning blasts which rocked Maiduguri, Borno capital.
The agency disclosed this on Sunday, December 11, via its twitter handle.
It said 17 people were injured and have been rushed to a specialist hospital in the city.
The bombers who were said to be a male and a female detonated explosives near the Monday market at about 4:48am.
Rescue workers are still at the scene, NEMA said
