Former Super Eagles captain Vincent Enyeama has confirmed to Gernot Rohr of his imminent return to the team.
Enyeama quit the Super Eagles in October 2015 after falling out with then coach Sunday Oliseh.

Enyeama seems to have confirmed to Rohr that he will return to the team when he recovers from injury and sort out his club situation.

"I spoke with him. He is ready to come back but he must get fit before. He knows that first of all that is the problem he has,” Rohr told Pulse Sports on Tuesday, August 30.
He has to look for a new club too because Lille already bought two goalkeepers and it will not be possible for him to play again [there] so we have to look at the next transfer window for winter time.

"The past is the past. Now is the future."
Enyeama has been deemed surplus at Lille by the new manager Marcelo Bielsa.
"His aim is to play with the second team of Lille. I will see him play and if he plays well, there are not any conditions to come back but I think he is ready to fight for his country," Super Eagles boss continued
After Enyeama's retirement, Carl Ikeme became Super Eagles first choice goalkeeper before he was diagnosed with acute leukaemia.

In his absence, Daniel Akpeyi has been preferred in goal although an injury to him means that Ikechukwu Ezenwa will start against Cameroon.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria will play Cameroon in Uyo on Friday, September 1 before the return leg on Monday, September 4 in Yaoundé.
